The Feast of St David

Posted on 1st March 2019 by Stadium Grp.

It’s 1st March and we are celebrating St David’s Day as part of our 10th anniversary fundraising activity plan by wearing yellow and a daffodil.

People in Wales and those of Welsh origin celebrate the life of their patron saint, St David by pinning a daffodil, the national symbol of Wales, or a leek, St Davids’s personal symbol to their clothes.

St David’s Day is the feast day of Saint David and lunch was provided and cooked by Lorraine Baillie, HR Director who was born in Abergavenny and raised £100  for Myton Hospice, one of our selected 10 charities.

Diolch Lorraine!
